Our Story
The Susan Brown Glenewinkel Educational Foundation honors the life and legacy of Susan Brown Glenewinkel.
A beloved daughter, friend, teacher, wife, Mama, and Gigi. Susan’s dedication to learning was at the heart of everything she did.
After raising her children, she earned her teaching certificate and devoted herself to shaping young minds in school districts across Texas.
To honor her legacy, we created The Susan Brown Glenewinkel Educational Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to advancing education in her name.
Through scholarships for students, grants for educational improvements, and partnerships with organizations that share our mission, we aim to carry forward the same passion and generosity that Susan poured into her work every day.
Join us in celebrating her life and continuing her vision for a brighter future in education.
Together, we can make a lasting difference.
We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting literacy and student growth.

Our recent projects reflect Susan’s belief that every child deserves spaces that inspire curiosity, confidence, and growth.
-
Bluebonnet Elementary – Lockhart ISD
We helped stock their book vending machine and added new seating to the library courtyard, creating inviting spaces that encourage students to read, explore, and thrive. -
St. James Catholic School – Seguin
Our general donation empowered the school to invest in high‑impact needs, including teacher laptops, outdoor learning tables, phonics and math manipulatives, and new soccer goals to support both academic and physical development. -
Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church – New Braunfels
We provided a directed donation to build a family‑room library, offering children and families a welcoming place for reading, connection, and shared growth.
Together, these projects honor Susan’s legacy by expanding access to literacy, strengthening learning environments, and supporting the students and families she cared so deeply about.
Our Impact
100% of donations go directly to the foundation.
Our board is entirely volunteer, ensuring every dollar supports students and educators.
